  The Role

  This role is responsible for the preparation and reconciliation of general ledger accounts and associated tasks, ensuring Company bank accounts are kept up to date and no unauthorised dated transactions are left outstanding without approval from management

  You will

  Reconcile all bank accounts daily and resolve any transactions that are unable to be allocated, ensuring that the accounts are clear at every month-end and reconciled

  Prepare Cash flow forecasting and processing ad hoc payments

  Raise journals relating to Cash Operations activity. Ensuring accurate and sufficient backing documentation provided

  Ensure Bank Mandates/Direct Debits are kept up to date and prepared for the annual authorised signatories submission to Corporate Treasury

  Contribute to the effective implementation of new systems, processes and procedures within Cash Operations, maintaining up to date process notes

  Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President) so you can clearly see internal development opportunities. This role is a CUK12 and is offered on a full time permanent basis with hybrid working (min. 3 days per week based in our Southampton office).

  About You

  Fresh ideas and different perspectives are what excite us most and help us to succeed. Alongside bringing these to the role, you’ll also need:

  Basic skills and knowledge acquired at data input level or above in Financial Operations environment (AP, AR, Payroll, Cash Ops) or busy office environment

  Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  Strong planning skills – able to organise and prioritise work

  Competent with Microsoft Office (particularly with Excel).
