GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF CLASS

Responsible for the dispersion and maintenance of the cart fleet for Cleveland Heights Golf Club.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Provides carts for golfers.

Maintains and repairs damages on the carts.

Keeps work area clean.

Wash cars daily and charge carts.

May be required to work overtime, or alternate hours, as necessary for the efficient operation of the department.

Position designated as Mission Critical by Department Director.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:

Performs related work as required.QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE)

Must have completed up to the eight (8) grade.SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

May be required to work overtime, or alternate hours, as necessary for the efficient operation of the department.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees.

Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Ability to stand for long periods.

Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, or crouch.

Ability to operate a cart.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Light work that involves walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or standing most of the time and involves lifting or moving objects between 10 - 25 pounds regularly.

The job requires normal visual acuity, field of vision, hearing, speaking, color perception, sense of taste, sense of smell, depth perception, and texture perception.
