BrightStar Care of Hilton Head is looking to hire professional, compassionate, and motivated Caregivers to join our team. We are looking for serious inquiries only who are flexible, and available to work weekends. As a Caregiver you will be responsible for helping clients thrive, build trusting and lasting relationships. As a Caregiver you must be willing to provide quality care, flexibility, punctuality and be committed to your client(s). Job duties include, but are not limited to: * Light housekeeping and laundry * Assistance with Bathing/Grooming/Toileting * Companionship * Transportation to and from appointments and running errands * Meal preparation * Medication reminders * Assistance with transfers * Assist with daily activities Requirements: * Must possess a high school diploma or G.E.D. preferred * Must have (1) year or more of experience working in a facility or home care agency * Minimum 20 hours per week * Personal, reliable and insured transportation * Pass a background check and drug screen * Must be ok with pets * Current negative TB Skin test , or Chest X-ray and CPR * Excellent verbal and communication skills * Must demonstrate professionalism, time management, being tactful, having patience, and good personal hygiene * Must be flexible and have weekend availability * Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and also to include standing, walking, squatting, and bending.
