You will assist department management in mentoring otheranalysts, while also maintaining responsibility for creating visualrepresentations of complex data analytics, utilizing Power BI and othertools, for Fastenal\'s Customers and Stakeholders. This position mayoffer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, andmeeting performance goals. RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties andresponsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: oAssisting with the development of the Data Visualization & AnalyticsTeam\'s processes, workflow prioritization and team member skillbuilding o Leading a portfolio of BI reporting for internal and/orexternal customers o Participating in customer presentations andbusiness reviews as applicable o Socializing new technology, processes,and support structures to cross-functional departments and Stakeholderso Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and understand businesschallenges o Assisting in the requirements gathering and Scope of Workcreation for new BI reporting projects o Motivating business users byproviding actionable reporting insights while harnessing descriptive,diagnostic, prescriptive and predictive models o Designing, developing,deploying, and maintaining user-friendly report visualizations anddashboards o Identifying and efficiently extracting complex datasetsfrom multiple sources o Creating data definitions for new databasefile/table development and/or changes to existing ones o Guiding thegovernance and role level security of data and reporting access oGuiding data integrity and validation, identifying anomalies and seekingcorrective action when identified o Collaborating with Stakeholders,Leadership, Business Intelligence teams and Data Scientists across teamsto leverage new models and standardize reporting needs o Assisting inpeer code review and pre-deployment testing REQUIRED POSITIONQUALIFICATIONS: The following skills and qualifications are required forthis position: o Possess at least 1 year of relevant work experience oPossess a bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Economics, BusinessIntelligence, Business Administration, MIS, Data Science, Mathematics,or a related field of study OR have at least 4 years of relevant workexperience o Excellent written and oral communication skills oProficient using Microsoft Office Suite o Highly motivated, selfdirected and customer...
