　　Responsibilities

　　Perform diagnostic electrocardiograms (EKGs).

　　Attach, connect, and operate electrodes from specified body areas to leads from electrocardiograph machine.

　　Review patient's record and instruct patients prior to procedures. Monitor patient during procedures and report any abnormal findings.

　　Identify and correct for artifacts.

　　Edit and forward results to attending physician for analysis and interpretation.

　　Maintain EKG equipment and supplies.

　　Requirements

　　Licensure/Certification/Registration:

　　Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

　　Certified Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.

　　Education:

　　High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

　　Completion of courses in Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology preferred.

　　Work Experience:

　　One (1) year of related experience preferred.Additional Preferences

　　Prefer 2-3 years of experience but willing to train the right candidate.
