What you’ll do:

　　This role will be responsible for executing Indirect sourcing activities for EISPL for assigned commodities, to effectively create and maintain an efficient production Schedule that meets customer requirements ensuring material flow across the Supply Chain. to the current month's and next month’s plan regulating demand/Product Mix Changes, Minimizing cycle times and effectively utilizing Inventory, Interco and Non-Interco Supply Plan/Scheduling, SIOP, Customer and Supplier OTD,

　　This role will be expected to optimize spending & work out cost-saving opportunities for assigned commoditized by effective strategy development.

　　Essential functions.

　　As a Buying Lead, must have Knowledge of SIOP, Min-Max, Safety Stock methodology, Supplier Vis, Product Line Inventory, KANBAN, PFEP, MMA, Excess and Obsolete Analysis, Inventory Health/Usable Inventory, GRN Process, FIFO, ERP Transactions, Cycle counts, Physical Inventory Process. The incumbent must ensure all stakeholders are engaged, the incumbent will work closely with all stakeholders to identify, and implement, tools and functionality that will improve Overall Procurement Team efficiency, Customer and Supplier OTD, and Imports Process.

　　This position is mainly buying from Overseas suppliers (Interco and Non-Interco) Hence Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, Understanding of Various Time Zones and follow-up alignment per time zone.

　　Buying and Planning- Indirect Material

　　• collaborate with other departments to understand their indirect procurement needs

　　• leverage technology to streamline the indirect procurement process

　　• Develop procurement strategies to address changing market conditions.

　　• procurement activities comply with relevant regulations and policies

　　• Aware of industry trends and best practices in indirect procurement

　　• involved in audits related to procurement compliance

　　Production Planning

　　• Monitoring Sales demand and align Interco supplies.

　　• Ensures plan Vs. Actual, Interaction with the Sales & Planning Team to ensure customer line coverage & anticipate fluctuation in customer plans.

　　• Review Demand vs. supply on Daily/weekly/Monthly/Long-term Horizon basis

　　• Review daily progress of production & sales to Management & highlight the threats by daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports (Past due, OTD, Ops Review).

　　• Support commodity manager to prepare and deploy long-term sourcing strategies for assigned commodities.

　　• Deployment of reliable strategic supplier solutions.

　　Qualifications:

　　6-8 years of experience in Indirect Planning & procurement in Engg. Company preferably in Auto Component Sound Technical Knowledge of Benchmark Store functions

　　• Knowledge on applicable statutory requirement.

　　• Educational Qualification- Diploma/Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering.

　　• Thorough understanding of manufacturing processes as well material planning, Inventory management, Buying role Specialist

　　• Excellent communication skills in English (written & verbal)

　　• Strong relationship with suppliers as well as customers – Internal and External

　　• Cross functions team working skills due to matrix organization reporting

　　• Order management experience

　　Skills:

　　Expertise in buying and negotiations for Capital items, MRO items, Indirect Purchase, Consumables- Handling contracts - Draft to sign Off for various indirect services - Cost out projects
