　　Job Summary and Qualifications

　　11-week paid training provided!

　　HCA Midwest Health’s StaRN Plus Cardiac Cath Lab Program provides a pathway for experienced registered nurses to transition into the Cardiac Cath Lab Specialty.

　　Procedures done in the cath lab/hybrid range from but not limited to diagnostic heart caths, interventional heart caths, TAVR, TMVR, watchman and cardiomems.

　　The lab also works with vascular surgeons and performs many peripheral procedures.

　　Exciting and fast paced; always learning new things.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Under the general direction of the Director, Manager or Nurse Manager, Registered Nurse (RN) coordinates and provides patient care and assumes individual responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care.

　　Registered Nurse (RN) provides nursing care is in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, applicable state Nursing Practice Acts, ANA Standards of Practice and the generic and unit structure standards

　　What qualifications you will need:

　　Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.

　　Must hold a current RN license from the Kansas Board of Nursing or an active compact license

　　BLS and ACLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required upon hire.

　　2 years Critical care or Emergency Department experience required.

　　Prior Cath Lab experience is a plus.
