Description:
The CapEx Modernization Program Lead will provide guidance and support of Front End Loading [FEL] process for the Modernization Program. Through guidance, specialized FEL knowledge, and standard work, they will collaborate with Project Managers, Operations and the Program Leadership Team to execute projects while applying global standards.
The Lead role will proactively seek opportunities to optimize standardization and documentation requirements of the Program FEL process through all FEL gates. They will also provide high-level support and coaching to CapEx Project Managers at the plant level, serving as subject matter expert for the FEL processes utilized by the Modernization Program.
The ADM Modernization Program [Program Aurora] is an ADM Operations Initiative to modernize our strategic facilities through Automation and Optimization. Utilizing technology and ADM expertise, we will reduce unplanned downtime, support safety initiatives, increase OEE and standardize our processes across our business units. The Program is an enabler for ADM’s Digital Transformation.
Job Requirements:
Understands and is accountable for full compliance with safety and other EHS requirements.
Ownership of the Program FEL 396 processes tied to company standard deliverables [I.E. P&ID]
Ability to analyze master program schedule for resource needs and recommendations.
Review projects for standard process practices and implement corrective measures.
Participate in all FEL required milestone meetings.
Recommend the use of company and contract resources equally to support project deliverables and timelines.
Utilize capital project guidelines to prioritize program projects from concept through project approval and delivery.
Assist the Finance Team in assessing and updating program and project level budget using knowledge of project level quotes and actuals.
Ability to work well within stakeholder groups with minimal supervision to meet project goals.
Effectively communicate process updates, provide suggestions for improvements, and facilitate group efforts to achieve improvement.
Ability to effectively coach and develop other colleagues who may not be direct reports
The candidate must be capable of working in extreme temperatures. Must have the ability to climb stairs, lift and move a minimum of 40 pounds, and sit and stand for long periods of time. Should be able to work in confined spaces and heights.
Occasional company travel may be required.
Preferred Experience/Education:
5+ years of experience with Front End Loading Processes
5+ years of experience with AFE processes
5+ years of experience in Project Management
PMP certification a plus
Knowledge of ADM Business Unit Segments and Sub-Segments
Working knowledge of Readiness Processes and Wave entry
Strong communication and mentoring skills
This position will be located in North America
