Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the legal industry for a Calendar/Docket Clerk in Chicago, Illinois. This role entails maintaining and updating court calendars, coordinating with legal team members, and handling a variety of administrative duties.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update court calendar, track and schedule court deadlines and case activities.

• Collaborate with lawyers, paralegals, and other team members regarding depositions and case management.

• Review daily, weekly, and monthly court dockets and prepare case files accordingly.

• File and retrieve court documents, ensuring all new information is accurately recorded and updated.

• Manage, organize, and maintain documents in a paper or electronic filing system.

• Monitor dates of hearings and trials, and make appropriate adjustments in the calendar as needed.

• Utilize LexisNexis, Management System, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, and other relevant software for various tasks such as billing functions, briefing, calendar management, dictation, and documentation. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Calendar/Docket Clerk or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in using LexisNexis and Management System.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites including Excel and Outlook.

• Experience in Billing Functions.

• Ability to provide briefings, handle dictation, and manage documentation.

• Excellent calendar management skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
