　　Description:

　　Stantec Dubai is looking for a CAD Technician (Civil 3D).

　　The role involves working on projects associated with storm water & drainage, flood alleviation, wastewater networks and water distribution networks. Key accountabilities for this position include but are not limited to:

　　• Develop and prepare drawings in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, REVIT or associated programs based on direction and design provided by landscape architects.

　　• Prepare detailed drawings, in CAD, REVIT or associated programs, of proposed plans, facilities and infrastructures, prints of various original plans and records for internal and external company use.

　　• Produce drawings for land development projects, base plans and detailed drawings for landscape projects as required.

　　• Work as a team member to coordinate design projects with urban designers, architects, landscape architects, engineers and other CAD technicians.

　　• Utilize customized tools, utilities and scripts to automate work processes and improve AutoCAD productivity and efficiency in compliance with the company CAD standards.

　　Collaboration and working as part of a team.• Work in conjunction with engineers to solve project design problems, performing basic design calculations as required.

　　• Conduct technical, feasibility studies and site investigations

　　• Liaison with teams working remotely from other parts of the world to facilitate completion of tasks, and project.

　　• Good communicator.

　　• Ability to build and maintain lasting and positive relationships

　　• Experience in utility diversions and management

　　Follow safe work practices and adhere to company guidelines and policies for planning and executing work in a safe manner.• Complete all work in line with Stantec Core Values and in accordance with the Stantec Quality Systems and Project Quality Procedures.

　　• Design for safety, i.e. Construction Design Management.

　　Other duties as requested from time to time by the Resident Engineer.Title:

　　Qualifications:

　　• 5-10 Total years of experience

　　• Degree/Engineering Diploma

　　• Must have relevant technical qualification and must have not less than 5 years of experience in drafting related to Sewerage and Drainage Connections and miscellaneous works.

　　• Must be well experienced in latest version of Micro station, Auto CAD, Windows Operating. System, Microsoft

　　Office Packages and Internet Applications.

　　• Must also have through knowledge of the existing Sewerage and drainage Networks in the Emirate of Dubai and be able to track existing Network from as-built records of various DS, IRR and Roads Projects.

　　• Excellent command English both written and spoken.

　　• The ability to manage a heavy workload, with a close attention to detail.

　　• Strong team working capabilities. Committed to working with all levels of management on a daily and ongoing basis.

　　• A proactive approach, working effectively in coordinating activities and complex tasks, taking professional responsibility in all matters.

　　• Be of the highest calibre: punctual, attentive and competent in adhering to COMPANY’s policies, procedures and working practices.

　　• A flexible approach to working hours and travel; with occasional weekend work if required.

　　Ability to survey site constructions and to prepare as-built • drawings.
