Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity in the Real Estate Property industry located in New York, New York. We are seeking a meticulous Bookkeeper who will have the responsibility of taking care of our firm's financial records, including processing transactions, updating financial records, and resolving any discrepancies.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications

• Maintain precise records of customer credit

• Regularly monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

• Classify, record, and summarize financial data to compile and maintain financial records

• Ensure figures, postings, and documents are correct with proper codes

• Manage both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) with precision

• Conduct account reconciliation and bank reconciliations

• Use accounting software to debit, credit, and total accounts in computer spreadsheets and databases

• Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations

• Compile statistical, financial, accounting, or auditing reports and tables pertaining to matters such as cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, and profits and losses. Requirements • Proven experience in bookkeeping or a related field within the Real Estate Property industry

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks

• Demonstrated ability to perform account reconciliation

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with conducting bank reconciliations

• Ability to perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy

• Experience in executing month-end close procedures

• Knowledge and experience in processing payroll

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
