Job Summary & Essential Functions
Perform cable assembly tasks for highly complex and critical end use applications. Perform high quality and detailed tasks ensuring high first pass yield and efficiency. Perform basic cable assembly process steps including such tasks as wire prep, wire stripping, crimping, routing, dressing, point-to-point cabinet wiring, clean-up and close out Build quality into the product -- increase first pass yield, minimize rework and minimize scrapSupport process improvements and participate in actively providing solutions Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area Operate a variety of equipment to fulfill manufacturing processesUnderstand and identify defects in accordance with applicable workmanship standard and classSet up and run of the cable automation equipment Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, job orders, specifications, drawings, schematics, process sheets, wiring diagrams, and small print for simple assembliesAbility to use basic hand and semi-automatic tools including, but not limited to: wire strippers, hand crimpers, applicators and presses, and pull testerAble to build electronic assemblies and consoles to IPC-620 requirements Solder to IPC-610 requirementsAbility to read, comprehend and follow instructionsAbility to manipulate and work with tedious and small partsAbility to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to produce quality resultsAbility to work in a high volume, high detail work environment PLEASE CLICK "APPLY" ON PACAREERLINK PA.
