　　Description:

　　This position will will be a shop support specialist in the wood shop. The Bernard Group wood shop makes store fixtures are used to display products in retails stores such as faucets, make up, shoes, belts etc. This individual will be assisting in all roles of the wood shop from Joinery and assembly, to cutting and machine operation. Have to have a strong knowledge in wood working Theory to teach others and grow the operation. To assemble the fixtures the candidates will be using hand tools power tools (nail gun) and glue to assemble and adjust. Its important to select correct parts based off of written directions and perform visual inspection of parts as they are assembled. Products could also require hand and power tool use to assemble certain products and TBG is always looking for ways to improve processes from employee feedback. Wood is placed into jigs, glued and nailed and then clamped together until dry.

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　2+ years of cabinet building experience or wood working in detail

　　Experience and knowledge with Joinery, saws and wood assembly

　　Experience Level:

　　Intermediate Level
