Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Buyer Clerk in Medley, Florida. This role primarily involves managing the data entry and order entry processes, maintaining vendor files, and other inventory-related tasks within the telecom provider industry.

Buyer should identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, and reliability.

Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and negotiate terms of contracts.

Prepare and process purchase orders according to company policies and procedures.

Monitor purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that arise.

Buyer should manage inventory levels to ensure that stock is maintained at appropriate levels.

Analyze sales trends and forecasts to predict future inventory needs.

Buyer should ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.

Prepare reports on purchasing activities, including cost analyses and supplier performance evaluations.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.

Experience:

2-5 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role.

Skills:

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
