　　The Electrical Engineering internship will be focused on understanding Powell Switchgear/MV MCC applications while learning the engineering processes for Powell Industries. Ideal applicants will be pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering.

　　Job Requirements:

　　A successful intern at Powell will have the following characteristics:

　　Currently pursuing a 4 year degree from an accredited institution

　　Rising Junior or Senior level students continuing their studies in the fall semester

　　Good academic standing; minimum 3.0 GPA

　　Team-player, self-starter, effective communicator, & dependable

　　Possess multi-tasking abilities and strong inter-personal skills

　　Intermediate to advanced drafting/CAD skills

　　Ability to interact with personnel from different disciplines within Powell

　　Basic computer skills using Microsoft Office products

　　Able to read and interpret electrical symbols, characters, and drawings
