Additionally, in this role, you will be responsible for ensuring appropriate inventory levels, vendor pricing negotiations and the timeliness of products from vendors and customers products to the service center.Responsibilities may include:Order parts for jobs promptly, as advised by service center departmentsCollaborate with technicians to ensurethe proper products and parts are ordered.Maintain procurement records such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventoriesResolve or assist in resolving all price and/or ordering discrepancies relative to purchased materials, incoming shipments, and outside invoicesContinually look for ways to improve the efficiency of the supply chainBe professional especially when representing the company during phone or personal contact with outside vendors, customers or service providers, etc. Participate in the Continuous Improvement Process SystemsQualifications and Competencies:High school diploma with industrial purchasing experience preferredStrong computer skills requiredStrong attention to detail and ability to follow directionsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and follow standardized work proceduresAbility to communicate effectively at all levelsStrong and professional customer focusAbility to work overtime as neededStrong verbal and written communication skillsBenefits:Paid Time Off (PTO)401k Employer MatchOn-the-job trainingTuition Reimbursement ProgramMedical, Dental and Vision plansSafety shoe & glasses reimbursementAnd more!
