Various Clinics,Janesville WI Hours will vary (PRN/Float Pool) Monday - Friday, DayShift (No Weekends) Responsibilities Utilizes the nursing process andcritical thinking in collaboration with interdisciplinary team membersin caring for patients. Performs assessments, planning, intervention andevaluation of care Administers prescribed medications and treatments inaccordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures,standards of care, and state laws/practice act as required by caresetting. Ensures all documentation is accurate and comprehensive inaccordance with the established standards of care for documentation atthe system and entity levels. Develops initiates and executes a patientplan of care according to the patient\'s individualized needs, asprescribed by the physician and/or hospital policy. Utilizes resourcesavailable to teach and support patient and family education. Provideseducation to the appropriate level of understanding. Participates indepartment or unit performance improvement activities, which may includeshared governance. Utilizes clinical expertise & guidance to otherunits/departments in support of the patient\'s longitudinal plan ofcare. Acts to resolve systems breakdowns and engages self and others inproviding solutions Utilizes critical thinking in regards to patientsafety and patient experience, manages complex situations and delegatesto other staff appropriately. Escalates to the appropriate chain ofcommand as needed. Positively influences the professional andorganizational environments and shared governance. Engages in personaldevelopment and supports system-entity opportunities for continuouslearning and growth including developing or revising evidence basedpractice guidelines. Supports and participates in peer review and peerfeedback opportunities. Participates in the professional nursingcontinuum Clinic and Ambulatory RN\'s will maintain timely flow ofpatients, in addition to responding to telephone calls and performstelephone triage of patients. Education and Experience Graduate of anaccredited nursing program. BSN or upon hire BSN completion agreementfor enrollment in an accredited BSN Completion Program.Certification/Licensure Licensed as an RN in state of practice ApprovedCPR certification required within 90 days (Other certification per unitrequirements: ACLS, PALS, PEARS, NRP) 10 hours of continued educationSpecial Physical Demands The Special Physical Demands...
