The Business Development Specialist develops and coordinates Printed Circuit Board (PCB) testing services with customers in the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) industry. Assists in implementing strategies to generate revenue growth and achieve booking goals. Builds and maintains strong client relationships and participates in customer meetings to ensure customer satisfaction. Promotes UL Solutions’ capabilities to existing and new clients, and identifies target opportunities for account managers
This is a Hybrid position requiring 3 days/week in an office
Provide assistance to commercial team on potential business leads, and follow up on existing customers, to help develop product sales.
Respond effectively to urgent and sensitive customer issues and maintain relationships with customers, with a focus on sustaining customer satisfaction
Develop and master research techniques to identify prospective customers, and to identify the decision makers in the prospective organizations.
Develop and manage relationships with assigned prospects and customers and works with the sales staff to assess account potential.
Assist with up-selling opportunities.
Oversee development role for multiple product service lines
The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000 and is based upon years of experience that is commensurate with the level of the position. All employees at UL Solutions are eligible for annual bonus compensation. The target for this position is 10% of the base salary offered.

Detailed understanding of the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) industry, including Testing and Certification activities
Networking experience with industry board fabricators and associated OEM partners
3-5 years of experience working in the PCB industry
University Degree (Equivalent to bachelor’s degree) in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related disciplines
4-5 years of business development or sales experience
Knowledgeable in new product development and portfolio management concepts
Demonstrated ability on how to develop a business plan
