Caring Transitions of Marina Del Ray is seeking a Business Development Representative to join our team. The Business Development Representative (or Manager) will be responsible for contacting and establishing new referrals and qualified leads within a defined territory to meet and exceed sales and revenue goals.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated and possess excellent interpersonal and phone skills with the ability to develop a rapport with business partners and clients. The overall goal of this position is to drive sales, develop markets and create new opportunities for growth.
Pay: $20-$25/hr depending on experience

Essential Job Functions:
Prospect new sales leads by making an initial phone or email contact. Engage the account and prepare them for the CT Owner/Operations Manager. Connect with as many leads as possible to encourage the purchase of the product offered. Be the point person for your team's sales lead qualification process.
Stay in close contact with existing accounts or leads and create brand awareness, educational opportunities, and request referrals. Coordinate in-person meetings and calls between the new clients and CT Owner/ Operations Manager.
Answer calls and emails from clients, identify the issue and make suggestions for future or new products or services.
Work within a defined territory to identify and develop potential partners/clients.
Identify and secure referral sources based on market needs and trends.
Actively pursue sales partnerships and contact lead sources by email, phone, and in-person with local travel.
Increase brand awareness in the marketplace, implement market growth strategies, create Business Development plans, and achieve quarterly sales objectives.
Provide comprehensive reporting to the owner.
Support and utilize sales tools such as branded materials, social media, sales development training and webinars, and event-driven Email campaigns.
Filing paperwork, answering emails, booking jobs, distributing advertising materials
Job Requirements:
Minimum 2 Years Sales Experience with Multiple Sales Techniques (including cold calls)
Experience working with relators
Local resident of the Los Angeles area
Strong Communication/Public Speaking Skills
Experience with Senior Community a Plus
Must Provide Own Transportation for Sales Calls
Willingness to Attend Occasional Evening Networking Event
Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
Willingness to travel - no two days are alike!
