Position Summary
The C# instructor is entrusted with delivering a top-tier educational experience for C# programing courses. Key duties encompass the regular updating of the curriculum, creation of dynamic courses, and provision of student support, both in group settings and one-on-one. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field, and demonstrated understanding of C# syntax, semantics, and programming concepts and related software, such as Visual Studio, .NET Framework, and SQL Server. Proven professional experience in C# development and communication and presentation skills are essential. Candidates with a Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, teaching certifications or relevant educational training, and experience teaching C# or a similar programming language in a college or continuing education setting will be given preference.
Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule
Adjunct Professor is typically assigned as needed on a quarterly basis, with no expectation of continued employment beyond the current appointment.
Compensation is $40.41 - $80.00 per hour. Individuals newly hired to Adjunct Professor group at the college are placed at the minimum rate per union bargaining agreement. Certain positions may also be eligible for assignment/project-based additional compensation, including a High Demand Stipend up to $8,350 annually, prorated based on the discipline and duration of the assignment. All additional compensations are subject to change depending on funding and negotiated agreement.
