The Endeavor network specializes in talent representation, sports operations & advisory, event & experiences management, media production & distribution, experiential marketing and brand licensing.

  In June 2021, 160over90 partnered with Obsidianworks, a culture-powered marketing agency co-founded by actor and producer, Michael B. Jordan, and Chad Easterling. Purpose-built for a more inclusive era of brand storytelling, the agency focuses on cultural connectivity through brand strategy, digital and social impact. Together with 160over90, the agency works with brand and talent partners to identify opportunities, create, and execute innovative and culturally resonant campaigns and activations, and connect with multicultural consumers in diverse communities.

  Business Development operates as the engine of 160over90, forming prospective clients' impressions of the agency, effectively shaping the client portfolio, and ensuring ample workflow.

  The Business Development Director works closely with the larger Business Development team to research prospects and to help craft highly customized proposals and presentations. This person also plays a critical leadership role in tracking and reporting new business and organic growth opportunities as they progress through the pipeline, chronicling wins in real-time and analyzing win records/ratios by discipline. In addition, the he/she also has a hand in optimizing business development organizational processes-helping to maintain a library of proposals, presentations, and best-in-class client work samples, as well as coordinating and developing content for departmental workshops, planning sessions, and agency-wide trainings.

  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  Maintain understanding of 160over90's business model, branding process, value proposition, full-service capabilities, active client portfolio, and prime revenue generation sources Oversee accurate record keeping of all new business wins and losses, year over year Input, update, and ensure the accuracy of all deals (organization, opportunity, timing, financials, likelihood) in the agency's CRM-in real time or on a weekly basis, working hand-in-hand with new business leads and account managers Prepare weekly new business reports and leadership updates on active deals, newly awarded work, and the health of the agency's overall pipeline Oversee maintenance of archives of proposals and presentations Maintain library of best-in-class client work samples, regularly collecting new agency work in market and related branding results Lead in the development of biz dev tools (links pages/curated work samples, case studies, portfolios, etc.) to elicit prospect attention and merchandise agency value/ROI Liaise with account and creative team leads and service line specialists to provide curated work samples that can help unlock organic growth opportunities Work with cross-disciplinary teams (biz dev, account management, creative, finance, video, digital, media, activation, social media, PR) on assembly and delivery of work portfolios, proposals/RFP responses, and presentations Own relationships with external agents and organize meetings to ensure on-time execution and lead in the development of tailored proposals, presentations, and pitch decks Ensure process adherence, efficiency, and quality assurance Serve as people manager for junior BD staff as assigned. Mentor and coach all junior team members.

  QUALIFICATIONS

  Strong knowledge of/interest in marketing, communications, and creative services Highly organized with strong attention to detail and excellent communication Good business judgment/commercial acumen Self-starter with the ability to work independently, but also within a larger department (and agency) construct Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment Four-year college/university degree, preferably in business or marketing/advertising/ communications 6+ years of related agency and/or sales experience Apple Keynote and Microsite Office experience preferred

  Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the range shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. Endeavor strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.

  Hiring Range Minimum:

  $112,500 annually

  Hiring Range Maximum:

  $150,000 annually
