Job Title: Business Analyst/QA Specialist

Location: Remote (Los Angeles or New York City)

Contract Term: 6-Month Contract (Potential Extension)

Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM

Start Date: January 2025

Position Overview

Seeking a Business Analyst/QA Specialist to enhance and maintain external web properties. Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to implement improvements, manage product backlogs, and support Agile processes. Operate within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with global needs.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Lead delivery of web-related initiatives, ensuring alignment with regional requirements.

Partner with stakeholders to document workflows, improve content management processes, and create user stories in Jira.

Support change management efforts, including training materials and communications.

Conduct quality assurance testing, log defects, and ensure compliance with functionality and accessibility standards.

Perform user acceptance testing, address issues during beta testing, and support users during adoption.

Identify risks and define mitigation strategies with Product Owners.

Qualifications

10+ years in Business Analysis or QA roles, with 5+ years in Scaled Agile (SAFe) environments.

Proficiency with Jira, GitHub, and Confluence.

Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and collaboration skills.

Ability to learn and adapt to new workflows and business domains.

Experience in sports, media, or entertainment sectors is a plus but not required.
