Description We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join our team in the financial services industry, located in Plano, Texas. As a Business Analyst, you will be instrumental in establishing and maintaining data governance frameworks, documenting business and IT processes, and interacting with business users to understand their data requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Establish, document, and maintain data governance policies, processes, and procedures to guide various data management processes

• Engage with stakeholders across the organization to identify data quality needs and assist in the development of data quality checks

• Perform impact analysis of regulatory, business, system changes on the data governance program

• Assist with preparation of material for key governance forums to review progress and initiatives

• Create and maintain policies for data management, categorization, and usage

• Enforce data policies to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices

• Create data flow diagrams, process flow diagrams, and relationship diagrams between business entities, data objects, and attributes

• Document data collection processes, business applications, storage locations, and data standards as per the data governance framework

• Oversee the continuous monitoring and improvement of data quality

• Collaborate with data stewards to define data ownership, establish clear accountability, and promote data stewardship across the organization

• Document, monitor, and report on compliance with data policies and standards

• Support the implementation of new data governance technologies and document process change. Requirements • Applicant must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the financial services industry as a Business Analyst

• Proficiency in using Atlassian Jira is required

• Must have a strong understanding of databases and data governance

• Experience in conducting gap analysis is necessary

• Prior exposure to AB Testing is essential

• Must be familiar with Agile Scrum methodologies

• Should have a deep understanding of business process functions
