Bilingual Sanitation Manager - 2nd ShiftWe are working with a leading Gluten Free Manufacturer distributing nationwide to all retailers and food service providers. The company aims to strengthen its brand and reach growing groups of people looking for healthier lifestyle foods. They are looking for an experienced Sanitation Manager to oversee, direct, and lead the cleaning procedures for the entire plant including multi-million-dollar machinery. Must have experience as a sanitation manager or supervisor and be fluent in English and Spanish.Location: Orange County, NYJob Responsibilities:Inspecting the manufacturing process to determine sanitation protocols.Designing and implementing sanitation policies and protocols.Coordinating and monitoring cleaning schedules.Creating and distributing work schedules for the sanitation workers.Performing daily inspections of the manufacturing facility and reporting any irregularities.Implementing corrective actions to ensure compliance with regulatory authorities.Providing feedback to company managers and advising on manufacturing changes.Monitoring the preparation and use of cleaning chemicals.Training sanitation workers and organizing refresher workshops for existing staff.Orders sanitation chemicals and equipment as needed.Communicate any problems or obstacles to senior management.Ensure all employees follow industry-standard health and safety guidelines.Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product safety or integrity.Coordinating the services of contractors and external cleaning crews.Required Skills/Qualifications: •Previous experience as a sanitation supervisor or manager in food or beverage manufacturing.•Must be fluent in both English and Spanish.•Must be available to work 2nd shift (3pm to 11pm or midnight).•Must have detailed knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols.•Strong attention to detail.•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.•Strong written and verbal communication skills•Excel in a fast-growing environment and excited to create new procedures and processes from scratch, with a strong entrepreneurial mindset.
