Business Analyst

　　Spark Power, a trusted partner in energy in North America, is looking for a Business Analyst to join our team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and improving our organization's business processes and systems. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements, identify opportunities for process improvement, and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. You will be responsible for compiling, analyzing, and summarizing business data to provide insights that support business case development, strategic initiatives, evaluating opportunities and facilitation of business reviews.

　　What will you do as a Business Analyst?

　　Collaborate with stakeholders and submission owners across Enterprise to gather, document and prepare the weekly reporting

　　Perform financial and operational metrics tracking

　　Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support

　　Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews

　　Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements

　　Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting of Enterprise objectives and KPIs

　　Preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly scorecards

　　Ongoing analysis of trends, forecasts, and workflows in support of continuous improvement initiatives

　　Work closely with the OpEx and BI Teams to support the ongoing development of Business Intelligence Reporting

　　Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses

　　Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and performance dashboards

　　Engaging in continuous learning to stay updated on advancements in business analysis methodologies and tools.

　　Experience - 2+ years of experience working as a Functional, Data or Business Analyst

　　Education – Post-secondary degree/diploma

　　Willingness to travel as necessary.

　　Able to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
