　　RESPONSIBILITIES:* Supports children on the bus as per their Individualized Education Plans (IEP's).* Supervises and redirects the behavior of children on the bus to ensure safety for the students.* Must pass a physical performance test bi-annually as per NYSED requirements.* Must attend a Pre-Service Class related to job responsibilities as mandated by NYSED.* Must attend an additional ten-hour basic course on special education requirements including behavior management, wheelchair accessibility, use of vests, etc.* Must attend two different (2) hour refresher classes yearly to keep up-to-date on procedures and requirements. * Must be nineteen (19) years of age or older to qualify.

　　HOURS:Various Shifts (6:00 a.m.-9:30 a.m. or 1:15 p.m.-4:15 p.m.)

　　EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:All costs associated with these employment requirements are the responsibility of the employee:* Fingerprint clearance from the NY State Department of Education (NYSED).* Drug Screening.* Physical Examination.
