Description

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day financial transactions of our client's organization. The ideal candidate will maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and support the overall financial health of the company.

Key Responsibilities

Record and maintain accurate financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.

Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial statements regularly.

Prepare and process invoices, payments, and payroll (if applicable).

Maintain general ledger and ensure timely updates of all entries.

Generate financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and tax reporting requirements.

Collaborate with accountants during audits or tax preparation.

Maintain and organize financial records and documentation.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.

Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred:

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Knowledge of payroll systems and procedures.
