Description

We are offering an employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper role in Newport Beach, California. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. This role is integral to the smooth operation of our financial team, with a focus on data entry, record keeping, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Ensuring accurate bookkeeping and maintaining comprehensive financial records

• Use of QuickBooks for financial management and reporting

• Regular interaction with the board of directors and staff members

• Management of a member system consisting of 800 members

• Handling payroll processing for a team of 26 employees

• Performing month-end close procedures and account reconciliation

• Overseeing COGS Food Beverage reporting

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting.

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Knowledge in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to conduct Bank Reconciliations

• Solid understanding of Bookkeeping practices

• Proficient in Data Entry tasks

• High-level competency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Month End Close activities

• Familiarity with Payroll responsibilities

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks software
