Description We are currently in search of an experienced Bookkeeper based in San Francisco, California. The role focuses on performing bookkeeping tasks in a corporate setting, and is an integral part of our team. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for a range of financial tasks, from managing accounts payable and receivable to bank reconciliations and month-end closing.

Responsibilities:

• Perform regular bookkeeping tasks, including the monthly closing and bank reconciliations.

• Assign and conduct quality assurance checks on the Charts of Accounts.

• Assist in preparing the books for the CPA Consultant for month-end and year-end closings.

• Process accounts payable for recurring expenses, subconsultants, and PR/PO.

• Streamline processes and optimize settings in the QuickBooks Enterprise software.

• Leverage knowledge of third-party software for efficiency.

• Generate management reports and support accounts receivable.

• Conduct 2-way matching for accounting purposes.

• Assist in job costing using QuickBooks Desktop, ensuring correct settings and accurate data entry. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks

• Demonstrable experience in bookkeeping

• Strong skills in data entry

• Experience in account reconciliation

• Knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with bank reconciliations

• Ability to handle payroll tasks

• Experience in month end close procedures

• Must not be listed on the Discriminatory Words list
