The Biomedical Equipment Technician provides cost-effectivemaintenance on company and customer-owned medical equipment primarilylocated at customer sites outside of the office to assure it isfunctioning properly and meets customers\' needs. The Field ServiceTechnician performs operational verification, preventive maintenance,and corrective repair service. What You Will Do in This Role Providescost-effective equipment inspection, maintenance, calibration, andrepair service on a variety of medical devices Completes all paperworkand computer data entry accurately and promptly to ensure completedocumentation for billing and required regulatory compliance.Communicates with clinical staff on the topics of equipment features,functionality, etc. What You Will Need for This Role Associate degree inelectronics, mechanical engineering, or biomedical equipment technology.Alternative qualifications include Equivalent military training orCertified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET). Must hold a current,valid, and unrestricted driver\'s license. Must have a safe drivingrecord based on Agiliti policies. Basic computer skills; understandingof computer networks and equipment interfacing. Willing to work flexiblehours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as emergencyoff-hours as required to support a 24/7 schedule. Willing to travelperiodically to support business needs. Able to lift and/or push up to75 pounds. Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Be ableto frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit,and stand for long periods of time.
