About Sales Training and Development Specialist

  Description

  Position Summary:

  Develops and implements sales training programs for Sales Account Executives and sales leaders. Works closely with various organizational departments, subject matter experts and the field sales force to ensure training programs reflect ongoing changes to Tradesmen International’s evolving business strategy, vertical sales growth and related processes. Course work includes sales and sales management, technical training courses, such as Customer Relationship Management and Applicant Tracking System Tools. Assess current programs and recommend modifications that align with organizational strategic direction and change. Conduct training programs in classroom style setting and via online virtual programs. Monitors and reports on sales metrics to determine effectiveness of training programs.

  Responsibilities:

  Conduct classroom and virtual training sessions to instruct employees on various topics to assist clients:

  technical training for ATS and CRM applications

  company sales, safety, and operational processes

  on-the-job training scenarios

  Work closely with the VP and Design Team to promote increased efficiency through development of multiple training formats: blended learning, live, virtual classroom, and computer-based modules, etc.

  Lead / Assist in evaluating training results and effectiveness, and modification of training programs, as needed

  Lead / Assist with the update of content and curriculum

  Conduct research and analysis, and deliver training programs to anticipate training business needs and trends for the future

  Promote an image of professionalism and excellence

  Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and organizational information

  Provide feedback to management concerning possible problems or areas of improvement

  Able to work independently and collaboratively, handle multiple priorities, and employee initiatives

  Must be willing to travel to perform regional trainings (4/6 x per year)

  Perform other duties, as assigned

  Education & Qualifications:

  Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or related field

  5 to 7+ years of experience as a sales trainer or sales manager

  5+ years of experience in sales (preferred)

  Must be proficient with MS Office Suite

  Effective and engaging presenter

  Creative, innovative, strategic thinker and organized

  Team player and enjoy engaging with people

  The ability to work independently

  Salesforce CRM experience a plus

  Experience with virtual platforms (Teams, Zoom) a plus
