  Position Summary: The objective of the Billing Specialist is to handle the client billing and related processing functions in the Finance Department and to ensure timeliness and accuracy of invoicing in accordance with billing guidelines.

  Job Duties and Responsibilities include:

  Responsible for the timeliness and accuracy of billing in Intacct and submission of invoices to clients

  Ensure invoicing is in accordance with client contract billing instructions and guidelines.

  Audit of imported billable time & expenses transactions and billing rates from ORC to Intacct

  Respond to client inquires and communications in a timely manner.

  Assist with application of cash receipts, perform research and maintain undeposited funds account.

  Various correspondence with project managers and clients related to authorization of bills and edits/adjustments.

  Support client accounts receivables and collection functions

  Setup client information in Intacct and other applications

  Assist with special projects as needed.

  Create ad-hoc billing schedules, analysis, and reporting for management.

  Perform other duties as assigned.

  Complete all required compliance training on an annual basis.

  Demonstrated integrity and confidentiality.

  Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.

  Strong attention to detail

  Ability to multi-task and prioritize is mandatory.

  Possess Accounting Knowledge

  Possesses strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in standard business software packages (e.g., Microsoft Office and Sage Intacct)

  Required Education and Experience:

  Bachelor’s degree in related field of study required (Preferred)

  Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in billing department required.

  Experience with Sage Intacct accounting software (Preferred)

  The hourly range for this position is USD $21.00 to $25.00.
