ResponsibilitiesThis individual will support work on projects including detailedinvestigations of historic properties, historic restoration,rehabilitation, adaptive reuse, and compatible new design in historiccontexts, as well as, historic rehabilitation tax credits, conditionassessments, and Historic Structure Reports.QualificationsQualifications in Architecture and Historic Architecture as defined by 36 CFRPart 61, Secretary of the Interior's Professional Qualifications StandardsPreferred experience:Experience in architecture or related design fields with priority given tothose with historic preservation forming their primary practice.Experience working with the Secretary of Interior's Standards for theTreatment of Historic PropertiesExperience with historic architecture-based projects including working withmaterials conservators, structural and MEP engineers, cultural landscapearchitects, and civil engineers.Experience documenting historic structures and conditions including HistoricStructure Reports and Historic American Buildings Surveys.Experience creating a set of construction documents, and knowledge ofcontemporary and historic materials, details, and construction methods.Proficiency with Revit and/or AutoCAD, Microsoft Suite, Adobe InDesignand Photoshop.EducationBachelor's or Professional Degree in Architecture is required.Master's degree in architecture, Historic Preservation, PublicHistory, or closely related field is preferred.Benefits and SalaryRATIO offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical,dental, vision, life, disability, flexible spending, a wellnessprogram that is available to employees and dependents, 401k, and annualbonus program.
