Applicants are responsible for giving information regarding the Airport and Greater Philadelphia region to the traveling public.
Essential Functions
An Airport Bilingual Receptionist will be required to use their linguistic talent to assist with: information services, tours, special events, and hospitality program, as well as assisting federal agencies with international arrivals. Ideal candidates will enjoy working with the traveling public and providing them information about the Airport as well as the Philadelphia region. Other duties include: assisting federal agencies with international arrivals, the Airport's Hospitality Program, Airport tours, and participating in other related Marketing and Public Affairs tasks.
Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, high attention to detail and be able to work independently.
Qualifications Applicants must be enrolled (full- or part-time) in a college or university and demonstrate fluency in English and any of a number of foreign languages, especially: Arabic, Dutch, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.
All candidates must be Philadelphia residents and be able to pass security background checks mandated by the Transportation Security Administration and U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
