As the CFO of AMP-NA, you will be responsible for providing strategicfinancial leadership and direction to drive our company\'s financialsuccess. With a strong emphasis on operational excellence, you will bethe executive leader across accounting & financial processes and riskmanagement to ensure the overall fiscal health of our organization. Witha strong emphasis on operational excellence, you will be the executiveleader of all aspects of the North American finance function includingstrategy, planning, risk management, financial reporting andtransactional processes in a SoX environment. Reporting to the GlobalCFO of AMP - NA, you will also be a business partner both to the CEO andNorth American leadership team, and to the wider Ardagh Metal Packagingglobal team.You will work closely with business unit and Groupmanagement, and other key stakeholders to develop and execute strategiesthat support our key objectives and financial targets.
AMP-NA has annual revenue in excess of \$2.5 billion, generated across 9manufacturing locations located in the United States. The role reportsdirectly to the global AMP CFO, with dotted line responsibility to theAMP-NA CEO, and manages an operations and corporate finance team of \>40people.
Responsibilities
Financial Strategy: Manage a comprehensive financial strategyaligned with the company\'s objectives to drive profitable growth,optimize capital allocation, and improve working capital efficiency.
Financial Planning & Analysis: Improve long range planning,annual budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial analysis toprovide insights into the company\'s performance, opportunities, andrisks. Partner closely with business unit leaders & function headsto provide visibility into customer profitability, cost centermanagement and overall P&L performance.
Financial Reporting: AMP is an NYSE listed foreign registrantand follows IFRS accounting standards. Application of Group and IFRSaccounting policies and standards in the delivery of accurate,timely, and transparent financial reporting in support of Group isessential to the role.
Compliance: Ensure maintenance of a strong Sarbanes-Oxleyinternal control environment and compliance with financialregulations, reporting standards, and tax requirements incollaboration with Group legal and finance teams.
Operations Integration: Leverage manufacturing operationsexperience to monitor business unit performance-driving efficiencyimprovements, cost reduction initiatives, and process optimizationthroughout the supply chain and financial operations.
Risk Management: Develop and implement strategies to mitigateenterprise, financial and operational risks. Oversee insuranceprograms at the business unit level and manage/monitor customer andvendor credit risks.
Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing finance &accounting team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professionaldevelopment opportunities. Guide professional development of team.
Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Transactions: Support theevaluation of potential mergers, acquisitions, and strategicpartnerships conducting due diligence and financial analysis, asnecessary. Support of all activities of the Group for significantcapital and debt transactions.
Continuous Improvement: Drive change to evolve the AMP - NA\'sFinance function into a more automated and cost effective businesspartner.
Qualifications
Proven track record of interpreting forecast financial data toprovide risk mitigation early warning / seek value creation /support effective commercial decision making.Bachelor\'s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration,or a related field.MBA or CPA required.Ten to fifteen years of experience in financial management requiredProven experience as a CFO or a senior finance executive in amanufacturing, supply chain or logistics company, packagingexperience a plus!Strong background in manufacturing operations, with a deepunderstanding manufacturing costing principles and systems.Demonstrated ability to drive financial and operationalimprovements.Exceptional leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.Experience with mergers and acquisitions is a plus.Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industrystandards.Ardagh Metal Packaging is a leading global supplier of sustainable,infinitely recyclable metal beverage cans to brand owners.
