Under the general supervision of the Benefits Manager, the BenefitsSupervisor is accountable for the supervision of the Benefits staff andfunctions in order to maintain data integrity, timely and accuratemanagement of client benefits, and all regulatory and compliancereporting in conjunction with level of service. This position can belocally based or work remotely.
Responsibilities
Leadership & Staff Supervision
Train and supervise the daily work activities of assigned benefitspersonnel.
Advise staff on procedure, system and policy changes as required.
Identify and resolve gaps in teams support of client service
Ensure all client deadlines are being met per regulatory and companypolicy
Conduct staff coaching, provide ongoing feedback, and implementcorrective actions as required.
Review processes to verify maximum efficiencies.
Process tasks for direct reports as may occasionally be required (manualand import data entry into the HR system, validate changes withinpayroll, run reports, submit 401(k), HSA, and FSA contributions withvendors, manage LOA/FMLA)
Manage Client Relationships
Escalation point for day to day activity and benefit questions.
Participate in client calls with client and other InfoSync departmentsas necessary.
Problem Solve daily issues as they arise
Build and maintain strong working relationships with client contacts
Serve as liaison with other departments regarding related issues.
Research inquiries, identify root cause, and resolve discrepancies toimprove client service and department policy and procedure
Competencies
Proven ability to successfully lead, coach, and develop a team of 5-10professional direct reports
Extensive knowledge of HRIS systems and its use in the administration ofbenefits
Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite products to include Outlook,Word and Excel
Thorough understanding of regulations governing benefits plan design andadministration
Proven business acumen with the ability to work with all levels ofmanagement
Excellent written and oral communication skills,
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantlychanging priorities with enthusiasm
Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions

Supervisory Responsibility
This position is responsible for supervising a team of direct andindirect reports within the Benefits department. Responsibility fordirect reports includes, but is not limited to, hiring, coaching,disciplining, and overseeing daily activities to ensure accuracy andcompleteness of tasks.
Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma and/or Associates Degree and three to five yearsworking with HRIS/HCM systems such as UKG, ADP, PeopleSoft, etc. with asolid understanding of benefits administration concepts, best practicesand procedures.
Three to five years supervising a team of direct reports.
Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelors Degree (B. A.) or equivalent, at least five years relatedexperience at a management level, or equivalent combination of educationand experience working with HRIS/HCM systems such as UKG , ADP,PeopleSoft, etc. with a solid understanding of Benefits Administrationconcepts, best practices and procedures, CEBS, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCPprofessional designations.
