About Benchmark & Auditing Specialist, Amazon Customer Excellence System (ACES)

  Description

  Amazon Logistics (AMZL) Brazil is seeking a highly talented and motivated Benchmarking and Audit Specialist to join the Amazon Customer Excellence System (ACES) team. You will be responsible for developing and managing several complex initiatives that seek to benchmark our standard work and audit adherence to these processes across the AMZL BR network.

  Your main responsibilities will revolve around creating and executing specific tools and mechanisms that ensure and measure adherence to Standard Work. Specifically, you will be accountable for the following:

  Standards: You will ensure every Delivery Station has relevant and impactful Standards that define best in class processes to be followed by leaders and associates.

  Training: Working with the Learning team, you will ensure Delivery Station leaders are aware of these Standards and have a solid understanding that allows for proper implementation at their sites.

  Audit: You will ensure leaders are able to accurately and objectively evaluate compliance, helping them identify process gaps that need to be closed to enable better performance.

  Finally, you will collaborate with Operations Leaders, subject matter experts and other Amazon Customer Excellence System members to ensure all three elements have closed-loop mechanisms in place to guarantee their effectiveness in a constantly-evolving business.

  Key job responsibilities

  Drive excellence programs and create global benchmarks

  Support setting and achieving Best at Amazon benchmark rates

  Define, implement, measure and improve standard work processes that will drive customer experience and performance improvement within our delivery station network

  Lead an audit mechanism to ensure that work standards are being adhered to across the AMZL network

  A day in the life

  You will:

  Work with teams across Amazon, including ops, finance, supply chain, tech, etc.

  Manage a complex set of deliverables, including making sure that all stakeholders are kept up-to-date

  About the team

  Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is Amazon's "Last Mile" delivery service, responsible for delivering packages and smiles to homes and businesses across the planet. Within AMZL Brazil, the Amazon Customer Excellence System (ACES) team leads the way in driving the benchmarking, standardization and continuous improvement of processes within our delivery station network. We are accountable for quality, productivity, metrics, and the information that supports mission-critical decisions. We will raise the bar on customer experience while lowering costs and supporting our rapid growth.

  We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

  Sao Paulo, SP, BRA

  Basic Qualifications

  Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or related industry experience

  Prior work experience as a Process Engineer, Operations Auditor, or Continuous Improvement Specialist

  Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  Knowledge of Lean techniques and Six Sigma tools

  Experience with complex operational process and performance improvement projects

  Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English and Portuguese)

  Preferred Qualifications

  Prior experience documenting and communicating complex cross-functional projects to business stakeholders

  Project Management Professional certification a plus

  Six Sigma Black Belt a plus

  Prior experience in the logistics industry
