About BD -Sales Assistant Intern, Global Selling, Taiwan

  Description

  Amazon is looking for a dynamic and analytical individual to support Taiwan-based sellers’ business development in Amazon marketplaces. A BD -Sales Assistant Intern will work with US Direct Sales Recruiting team (DSR team), to support data collection and mapping from multiple channels. You should be able to work as full-time intern (40 hrs/week). A successful candidate will be a self-starter. You should be passionate about collecting and identifying leads and opportunity, nurturing potential leads and converting skills to improve seller pipeline quality. An intern will proactively seek answers in self-service learning tools, but know when to ask for guidance. Selected candidates will work side by side with the US DSR team to provide and contribute high quality leads to boost the seller recruitment process. You must be successful both as individual contributors and in a team environment, and must be obsessed with serving the customer. Our environment is fast-paced and requires someone who is flexible, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a deadline-driven work environment. Passionate about e-commerce is a must while interested in cross border trade empowers you to be part of Earth's most customer-centric company and contributes to TW sellers continued development on Amazon.com.

  Key job responsibilities

  • Conduct lead generation process through use of tools and programing techniques such as SQL and deliver analytical reports with advanced Excel skills.

  • Work with Sales to support data collection and mapping data from multiple channel.

  • Identify leads and business opportunity, nurturing and converting potential leads to improve seller pipeline quality.

  • Establish tools, reports, and dashboards to track lead pipeline.

  • Deploy visualization tools and techniques such as Tableau to build comprehensive dashboards.

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast paced environment.

  • Study mass communication tools and platforms to optimize seller interaction experience.

  • Show strong competency in bias for action, invent and simplify, and learn and be curious.

  We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

  Taipei, TPE, TWN

  Basic Qualifications

  • Currently enrolling in a Bachelor’s degree or higher degree program or have graduated less than one year

  Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in SQL and Advanced Excel (Array and Statistical formulas)

  • Capable to own report generation process though use of tools and programing techniques

  • Language skills – ability to communicate (written and spoken) in Mandarin Chinese and English

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and responsibilities

  • Database skills, especially SQL writing for data retrieval is preferred

  • Experience in E-Commerce, and/or Business Analytics

  • Understanding of mass communication & Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools including but not limited to Line, FB, Salesforce, etc.
