Base Manager responsibilities can include any of the following...SCOPE:Exchange locations on a specific military base or bases in the United States as defined by Area ManagerPRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:Complete daily tasks as assigned at Exchange locations. BM responsibilities can include but are not limited to any of the following tasks:Call on Exchange locations and complete tasks as assigned:Maintain proper call frequencySell and ensure proper shelf placement for all authorized items utilizing tools providedFill store shelves w/back-stock if opportunities existSecure display activity and build displays as neededScan store for missing items via hand-held device and obtain missing distributionConduct inventory checks and write orders for all VON related itemsMeet with each store manager as scheduled by AMResponsible for shelf ManagementFacings - Resets - Communicate Auto Replenish issues - Pricing - Coupons - POG ComplianceCheck code dates and proper rotationWrite up/Return 'out of dates' as outlined in specific Manufacturers policiesTimely communication to AM utilizing the 'best practice' method outlined by AMSell promotions as outlined in Convenience Package and as directed by AM and report results to AMBuild displays as requiredPlace Point of Sale as directedReport low or out of stock issues to Facility ManagerComplete Call reporting procedures technology while in storeOther projects/requests as requested or assigned by managementDemonstrations:Complete in-store retail package goods demonstrations, including but not limited to Alcoholic beveragesUnderstand the brands represented and deliver their message as specifiedIndividuals will need to distribute, engage, educate, and survey retail consumers and promote brands in a professional mannerYou will be responsible for the full set up, break down and follow through from the demoThe right person for this role will demonstrate an engaging personality and show excitement for the brand. Brand Ambassador's will need to show their comprehension of brand information and their ability to sell accordingly. It will be essential for candidates to work independently, maintain their schedule and manage their time. This position will require flexibility in schedule in accordance with the Exchange and Express stores demo needs. ALL candidates MUST be 21 or older.Explanation of lifting, temperature restraints, and other working conditions:Build, install and move (with additional assistance) various racks weighing up to 100 lbs.Build displays with up to 40lb case weightFreezer work at 0FOccasional outside case lot sales and weekend special eventsPay rate is $18-$20 per hour and 24 hours per week. Base Manager must be available during store hours.
