Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring for a Banquet Manager to join our team at The Ridgeline Hotel at Estes Park in Estes Park, Colorado. As a Banquet Manager, you will partner with the Food and Beverage managers to ensure all hospitality operations at The Ridgeline Hotel at Estes Park run efficiently to create memorable experiences for guests.
One bedroom housing is available for this individual.
Relocation may be available for candidates over 50 miles away.
Pay
Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $55000 - $62200 / year
In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. Responsibilities
Oversee training, scheduling, and supervising of associates from the catering department.
Monitor food and beverage orders produce daily sales and accounts receivable reports.
Prepare operational reports, and keep records of purchases, requisitions, and liquor logs.
Oversee all liquor ordering and inventory for the bar.
Monitor customer service feedback and develop standards of service that are shared with the catering associates.
Assist with menu pricing strategies for optimizing cost and control.
Develop and maintain positive client relationships.
Driving a company vehicle as needed.
All other duties assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum three (3) years' leadership experience in a catering and events role.
Knowledge of food preparation, inventory, and cost control measures.
Excellent verbal communication and supervisory skills.
Ability to analyze data and make decisions.
Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Constant lifting, bending, and repetitive motions.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
