Administrative System Support Specialist that will be responsible for all aspects of developing, programming, testing and implementing applications to support Ellucian Banner and other campus enterprise systems. May provide programming support for web applications as needed. This is a remote position with a salary range of $65,000-$71,274.
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in a job-related field or equivalent combination of training, knowledge and experience
Knowledge/skills:
A strong understanding of relational databases and associated toolset like Oracle, SQL, and PL/SQL
Experience with Java or another object-oriented language
Knowledge and experience in software design, development methodologies, testing techniques and analysis skills
Experience with_ARG0.5for PageBuilder desirable
Analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly identify and work with functional users and technical staff to correct problems or develop programming solutions
Ability to learn new technologies and maintain technical currency
Time management and multitasking skills with the ability to efficiently distribute effort among various assignments and duties and complete projects with critical deadlines
Essential Functions:
With or without reasonable accommodations the incumbent must be able to read and write and speak the English language at a college level
Be capable of performing sometimes complex mathematical calculations, statistical calculations an other higher mathematical operations
Must be able to communicate with all levels of the institution in written and spoken form
The individual must be able to work independently
The ability to maintain regular and prompt attendance during business hours
Communication with business offices (Registrar, Financial Aid, Human Resources, Accounts Receivable) is essential to the successful performance of this position

Job Responsibilities:
Works with other administrative systems team leader/manager and end users to analyze user needs, identify system requirements, and design, develop, test implement, and maintain administrative programs and systems
In cooperation with administrative systems team leader/manager plans and prioritizes activities with collaboration with users; selects methods and techniques, and resolves all technical and functional problems associated with assigned projects
Responsible for all phases of administrative systems analysis, design, development, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance in assigned areas
May provide programming support for web applications as needed
Acts as technical consultant and assists and supports user departments with assigned administrative programs and systems
May serve as a project lead on select multi-step, multi-departmental programming projects
May be required to discern legacy business processes based on analysis of existing code and interviews with functional business leaders in offices

Perform additional duties and assist with special projects as assigned
