In the Transformation Organization (TO), we are looking for visionaries who are willing to push boundaries to help us rewrite the rules for HP Inc . The TO will accelerate transformation through embracing agile new ways of working, investing in the digital literacy of our workforce, and using the power of data, AI, automation, and robotics to extract cost and complexity from across our business.
The Enterprise Business Planning program is transforming how HP does enterprise-wide planning and forecasting, from WW LTP to weekly account planning in countries. This effort is multi-dimensional in nature, including (1) elements of organizational design, (2) process redesign, (3) applying sophisticated technology and application tools, and (4) leading advanced change management techniques to deliver the full value of large-scale transformation.
The EBP Incident Management Analyst will work closely with the Director of EBP, Team Manager and Data Architect and Security Lead to monitor and respond to incidents impacting the new EBP planning tool. Will monitor global usage, functionality, access, reporting feeds, etc. to ensure planning system functionality is maintained.
The specific responsibilities of the role:
Identifies root cause of incident
Analyzes design and determines coding, programming, integration and debug activities required based on knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution.
Creates solutions for issues with code and integration into data system architecture.
Coordinates resources as needed to drive system recovery I solutions
Drives incident resolution
Develop communications and timelines for resolution
Escalates issues that require additional attention/support
Education and Experience Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, Accounts or equivalent.
Typically 4-6 years’ experience.
Knowledge and Skills
Strong focus on customer experience
Using data engineering tools, languages, frameworks to mine, cleanse and explore data.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to represent complex algorithms in software.
Strong understanding of database technologies and management systems.
Strong understanding of cloud-based systems/services.
Database architecture testing methodology, including execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at management levels.
Able to work autonomously with little guidance while troubleshooting possible root causes
Robust relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting.
Developed leadership skills, including team-building, conflict resolution, and management.
Able to work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment
Desired
Experience with Anaplan a plus
Knowledge of Service Now and/ or SmartSheet
Knowledge of JIRA
