　　The Role at a Glance

　　The Assistant Vice President, Actuarial Technology, will play an integral role focused on enhancing the Chief Actuary organization’s capabilities through the usage of technology and guiding our end-to-end integration of data, processes, and modeling tools.

　　What you'll be doing

　　Sets the architectural strategy to support corporate valuation and modeling operations, including the design and management of cloud and on-premises applications and storage.

　　Manage the data platform to support data integration processes and reporting.

　　Be the liaison between the Chief Actuary organization and IT.

　　Provide third party support of critical tools (Moody’s AXIS, Dataiku, Tableau)

　　Thought leadership on optimizing usage of technology and integration between platforms.

　　Lead the development of end-to-end automation around actuarial data and applications that supports reporting requirements and business decision-making and maximizes efficiency across the team.

　　What we’re looking for

　　Must have:

　　10-15 of experience that aligns with the specific responsibilities of this position

　　Understanding of actuarial data and reporting.

　　Ability to maintain expertise across numerous platforms and technologies

　　Excellent communication skills

　　Works well in a team environment

　　Experience with:

　　Modern Data & Analytics Technology such as Dataiku, Tableau, AWS, Spark

　　Coding with SQL, Hive, Python/R, SAS, VBA, etc.

　　Self-starter, Innovative, Problem Solver

　　Nice to have

　　Experience with actuarial modeling platforms (Moody’s AXIS, MG-ALFA)

　　FSA designation or ASA designation with additional years of actuarial experience #dice

　　Pay Range: $140,701 - $256,200

　　Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
