　　*Position Summary:* * Under direct supervision of the SecuritySupervisor, responsible for the outdoor protection, safeguarding andsecurity of the casino\'s assets, personnel, guests and all visitorsduring their assigned shift. *_This list of duties andresponsibilities is illustrative only of the tasks performed by thisposition and is not all-inclusive._* *Essential Duties &Responsibilities:* * Responsible for the protection of Tohono O\'odhamGaming Enterprise (TOGE) assets. * Prepares and submits reports asrequired, including patrol log. * Patrols the casino parking areas. *Patrols the parking areas for any suspicious activities. * Inspectsbicycle before heading out to include: tire pressure, brakes and chainto ensure safe operation. * Confers with Management on any detection ofinfringements or situations worthy of investigation. * Assists guestswith vehicles when they will not start or have a flat tire. Calls fortow trucks or taxis as required. * During patrol looks for pets orminors left in vehicles. * Circulates amongst vehicles to ensure safetyof outside premises and vehicles by being visible. * Cooperates withall Law Enforcement Agencies in apprehending anyone involved in criminalactivity. * Observes guests to prevent intoxicated guests from drivingoff the property. * Ensure Compliance with all state, Tohono O\'odhamGaming Enterprise and Tohono O\'odham Gaming Office Tribal GamingRegulations. * Ensures compliance with departmental standard operatingprocedural manuals and casino policy manual * Ensures departmentaldaily records are accurate and maintained. * May be assigned theadditional duty as an EMT if they are selected and meet the casinocertification requirements. * Provides first aide/CPR until advancedcare arrives. * May be assigned the duties of a Security Officeroccasionally. * Maintains a good communication with co-workers andmaintains a positive and professional work environment. * Contributesto a team effort and accomplishes related results as required. *Performs outstanding internal and external guest service by interactingand assisting guests and co-workers. * Knowledge of Tohono O\'odhamGaming Enterprise\'s Internal Controls(IC\'s) and Minimum InternalControl Standards (MICS). * Performs other duties as required.*Minimum Qualifications:* * Knowledge, Abilities, Skills, andCertifications: * Knowledge of safety operations and procedures, safetymethods and practices, and public/guest service skills in a casinoenvironment. * Knowledge of applicable federal, state, county, andlocal laws, regulations, and requirements. * Knowledge of businessEnglish, proper spelling, grammar, punctuation, and basic arithmetic. *Knowledge of Basic Computer and Keyboarding skills. * Ability to ride abicycle and complete basic bike officers training class. * Ability tocommunicate, read, and write clearly in basic English. * Ability todemonstrate outstanding guest service at all times. * Ability toestablish and maintain professional relationships with individuals ofvarying social and cultural backgrounds and with co-workers at alllevels. * Ability to follow instructions in verbal and written format.* Ability to demonstrate moral character, honesty, tact, fairness, lackof prejudice and desire to help when dealing with people. * Ability toanalyze situations and adopt appropriate courses of action. * Abilityto exercise independent judgment. * Ability to work extended hours andvarious work schedules. * Ability to perform in a professionalappearance and manner. * Ability to maintain a clean driving record. *Ability to use good judgment and foresight. * Ability to obtain andmaintain CPR certification. * Ability to work outside during allweathe conditions.
