Your Role: What you'll be doing
This position will support ULA's Vulcan Development organization and thesuite of projects/programs that enhance and evolve ULA's Vulcan Centaurrocket and provide more capabilities to our customers.This position will report to the Vulcan Development Systems Engineering leaderand is required to support multidisciplinary project teams with an emphasis onsecond-stage system integration.This position will lead a team in the evaluation of customer/operationalneeds and to develop and integrate system requirements.This position will execute systems engineering activities for Vulcan CentaurDevelopment, including requirements development, technical integration,systems analyses, failure modes & effects analyses, test methods,operational process development, trade study development and management,risk, issue, and opportunity management, team and program executionplanning, technical decision making, requirements verificationactivities, proposal support, and Gate Review preparation and execution.This position will be responsible for identifying and applying appropriatescaling of systems engineering activities commensurate with the specificproject needs.
Your Background: What education and experience you'll needRequires a bachelor's degree and 6-10 years of experience.

A Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related technical field from anaccredited college or university is required.Previous experience leading multidisciplinary project teamsExperience generating, allocating, and verifying requirements forAerospace applications is preferred.Experience leading cross-functional teams in the performance of requirementsanalysis, development, integration, and verificationExperience leading cross-functional teams in trade study management and riskmanagementExperience with Launch Systems is preferred.This position requires knowledge of Systems Engineering and Integrationprocesses and tools.Experience and background with previous development programs to develop a newproduct from scratch or enhance an existing product.Experience with system-level design reviews or major gate reviews (e.g.SRR, PDR, CDR, etc.) and presenting to a diverse customer audience.Knowledge and ability to work within an Agile development environment using anAtlassian (e.g. Jira, Confluence, etc.) tool suite is highly desired.Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams to resolve technical andprogrammatic issues.Strong written and oral communication skills, able to interface withinternal and external customers through various topics.A successful candidate will have demonstrated technical knowledge in areasthat drive Aerospace electrical or software design.A successful candidate will be a self-starter able to work autonomously,learn, tailor and execute processes, and perform in a collaborative A ileenvironment.Experience with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to include charts integrationfor large presentations to the customer.
