WHAT YOU'LL DO
This role is responsible for the final testing and commissioning of complexedAudio-Visual systems during and post build. This position will also providetechnical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments aswell as establish goals and plans that meet project objectives. You'll workclosely with the Project Manager to provide documented test result from systemtesting and commissioning.
Day-To-Day Responsibilities:
Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprintsTest point-to-point functionality of systemsReview project Scope of Work (SOW) to ensure quality and completeness ofinstallationTest integrated systems and perform troubleshooting for AMX/Crestron and DSPsystemsField installation of control programs (AMX/Crestron) - upload anddownload capabilityWrite code for DSP systemsMake minor programming changes under the direction of an engineer orprogrammerFine tune audio video systems to ensure optimal performanceConfigure IP addressable devices to establish communication on a networkPerform client training and final job documentation as neededAct as a customer liaison in absence of Project ManagerCreate, track, and complete a project PunchlistAbility to travel to various job sites required

Communicate and interact with internal employees, clients, and colleaguesin a professional and timely mannerProven business writing skillsProficient with test and calibration equipmentSupport user acceptance testingMinor programming capability (AMX/Crestron) - changes and troubleshootingAbility to diagnose complex system problemsKnowledge of Advanced signal flow for audio, video, and controlUnderstand IP networkingAdvanced PC proficiencyEffective communication and interaction with employees, clients, andcolleaguesExcellent multitasking capabilities while adapting to changing prioritiesAbility to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlinesSolid organizational skills and excellent attention to detailValid Driver's License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI-SPL drivingstandardsMinimum of a High School Diploma or eq uivalentAbility to regularly climb and work from ladders up to heights of 35 feet;lifting equipment, tools, and materials.
Nice-To-Haves:
Formal education in Electronics or related field preferredMinimum 5 years of AV Installation experience preferredA four-year degree or military experience may be considered in place of jobexperienceExperience with Enterprise VC solutions (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, GoogleMeet, Bluejeans, Cisco Telepresence, etc.) both hardware and softwareAVIXA General CTS (Certified Technical Specialist) is preferred
