-Greeting customers and telling them about the types of services theirshop offers.
-Updating customers on the progress of their vehicle repairs or limitedofferings like free vehicle inspections.
-Processing customer transactions upon completion of their vehiclerepairs.
Service Advisors answer questions from customers and service providers.They use their expert knowledge to understand the clients problems andexplain their needs to staff for satisfactory service delivery. ServiceWriters also schedule appointments, process orders, monitor delivery andhandle customer complaints. Their duties include working with computersand building and maintaining relationships.
Examples of Service Advisor duties:
-Interact with customers, listen to their questions and concerns andprovide timely responses.
-Educate clients about the companys products, services and offers.
-Schedule appointments, take orders, monitor service progress, calculatecharges and process payments.
-Review customer accounts and report changes to internal staff.
