ATHOL Automation Engineer Job Summary: To design and implement automatedapplications for operations. Duties and Responsibilities: Designs,programs, simulates, and tests automated machinery to streamlinemanufacturing processes. Uses design techniques to build automatedsystems such as: measurement functions, control functions, andactuators, etc. Considers automation workflow, production layout, andsafety measures when designing automated machinery processes. Auditscurrent equipment and automated processes to determine failure rates.Coordinates quality control objectives and activities to resolveproduction problems, maximize product reliability, and minimize cost.Drafts and designs detailed documentation for design specifications andadditional relevant documents. Adheres to local regulatory standards fordesign, process, and safety considerations. Performs work under generalsupervision. Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refersmore complex issues to higher-level staff. Possesses solid workingknowledge of subject matter. Ability to work independently.
