Sr. Manager - Process Transformation Governance The Sr. Manager, Process Transformation (PT) Governance will lead a team of process improvement experts with accountability for delivering on a broad range of projects, varying in risk, size, and complexity, while aligning to business strategies. The Sr. Manager, PT Governance provides leadership and direction to develop skills and organizational capabilities to achieve business results as well as educates and creates awareness of Process Improvement/Transformation methodologies across the Bank. The team will employ methods to pro-actively create/enhance the viability of process improvement opportunities within all Lines of Business (LOB)/Support Functions. It combines big picture thinking, coupled with small incremental steps to achieve process transformation. Outcomes of Process Transformation include: * Increased efficiency and cost savings * Enhanced customer and employee experience * More scalable processes * Greater Transparency, Accountability and Communication * Less dependency on manual controls or intervention The Sr. Manager, PT Governance will lead a team that will be focused on supporting the LOB/Support Functions on their process improvement opportunities, establishing a focused partnership between those LOB/Support Functions and the PT team, and ensuring PT-related guidelines/standards are communicated/understood by LOB/Support Functions. Position Responsibilities: Process Improvement Opportunities Support * Establish guidelines/protocols for relationship management and support between PT Team and LOB/ Support Functions. * Manage overall pipeline of improvement opportunities in coordination with Governance Leads and LOB/Support Functions. * Prepare ongoing Executive communications documents to share progress and findings with Comerica stakeholders. * Work collaboratively with all LOB/Support Functions to introduce/reinforce process standards and guidelines. Establish Focused Partnership * Lead overall understanding of LOB/Support Functions needs and how PT Team could pro-actively support those needs. * Lead effort to create solutions that will maximize matrix environment to enhance efficiencies across the LOB/Support Functions. * Proactively work with LOB/Support Function leadership teams to provide feasible process improvement opportunities based on their needs/challenges. Process Transformation Support * Support knowledge exchange of PT Team's capabilities with LOB/Support Teams. * Ensure concise and clear communication of LOB/Support Functions needs are passed on to PT Admin/Strategy team. * Ensure overall LOB/Support Functions needs align with both PT Team and enterprise strategy. Execution and Monitoring * Pro-actively work with LOB/Support Functions on overall deployment of process-related changes. * Partner with key stakeholders to optimize the solution and achieve a high adoption rate. Leadership: * Manage and develop team cultivating a spirit of one team with shared goals and objectives. * Select, motivate, and retain high performing talent. * Work with senior leaders to evolve culture and organizational behavior, elevating Process Transformation into a strategic partner.
