About AUTOMATIC DOOR PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE

  Automatic Doors of Montana Inc. is seeking an Automatic Door Preventive Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of automatic doors at various facilities. This position requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. All tools and transportation are provided by the employer.Responsibilities:- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on automatic doors to ensure optimal functionality and longevity.- Inspect, clean, and lubricate components to prevent wear and tear.- Identify potential issues and proactively address them to avoid downtime.- Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in automatic door systems.- Perform repairs promptly and efficiently, minimizing disruption to normal operations.- Collaborate with other maintenance professionals and contractors as needed.- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.- Provide detailed reports on the condition of automatic doors and recommendations for improvement.- Be available for emergency repairs and respond promptly to urgent service calls.- Ensure that automatic doors are restored to working order as quickly as possible.- Communicate effectively with clients and facility managers to understand their needs and address concerns.- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor.- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines during maintenance and repair activities.- Stay informed about industry best practices and updates related to automatic door systems.Qualifications:- Strong knowledge of automatic door systems, including sensors, actuators, and control panels.- Previous experience in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.- Ability to adapt to changing work environments and schedules.- Clear and effective communication with clients, team members, and management.- Proven ability to diagnose issues, develop solutions, and implement effective repairs.- Capable of lifting and carrying equipment, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.- High school diploma or equivalent.- Willingness to work overnight shifts four (4) days a week as part of the regular schedule.- Flexible and committed to maintaining a high standard of service.- Certification in automatic door systems maintenance is a plus.- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.Schedule: This position includes overnight work four (4) days a week.Wage: The salary for this position depends on your qualifications. Someone with no experience will start at $18.00 per hour.
